Finally picked this un up from delta....heh...nice and light...which was reason uno for getting it..truth be told construction is a bit flimsy, being alum. n all but the case is roomy...Don't get me wrong...I find it roomier than the P180 also... well the mobo bay is...and the PSU chamber of the P180 had me irritated anyways..
Best of all its cool too...expected to have a temp rise when I transplanted my components to this one, but guess what...temp's ain't been affected much.. the HDD is a bit hotter but the rest of the components r the same!!!

Now I can cart this piece along with me..without people staring and saying "pagal computer leke ghoomta hai" :bleh:
Its very...very light. Thanks 2 a TE member who suggested this one. I'm sticking with it..PS P160 isn't available here

Nice mate.
Post some pics soon :).
btw the SLB has a low rpm blue fan up front which also isn't visible in the dark from the side panel...does antec have faster blue LED fans?? In that case I'd probably switch both these fans for higher cfm parts...
I have a sweet idea 4 using all 4 120mm's...
will share...sigh..work beckons..may take awhile..

Well, My Xaser III has a Blue/Red 80mm 2500RPM Fan.

I guess atleast a 2000RPM 120mm should be available.

Strange, I woulda thought there'd be a slight drop in temps with the SuperLANBoy's cooling setup. Which chassis did you have prior to this and what kind of cooling? I was thinking of a SuperLANBoy for my next rig but if there's no difference, I wouldn't spend 6k on it.

Yep the extra 120mm fan made a big difference in gfx temp, CPU temp by 1c, mobo temp and HDD temp. I am experimenting with the fans in SLB... i will soon give the result. I have 4 120mm fans inside the cabinet now:D.

I would suggest adding an extra 120mm fan to the inner side of the 3.5" drive cage - like Saiyan has done. See the pictures of his setup here...

Having this third 120mm fan should make a big difference to CPU CASE and HDD temps.
I fail ta see how it'd drop HDD temps...they're blocked from the airflow... mostly aren't they....in fact i plan on 2 HDD's soon (still haven't replaced the one I sold) and later on 3...2 in RAID 0 and 1 single...:ohyeah: so maybe then this would help...

:bleh: dont say the p180 got u irritated just cuz its mine now   ;)
btw post some pics of the super lanboy :hap2: :bleh:

i had seen the SLB in prime with P180 when i picked the SLB i was surprized how this big piece of metal can this light then came the P180, the person kept on the table and i wanted to see the other side so i tried to move it and i said /F*** , then i looked everywhere that no one is looking at me then i left it that way ....

SLB's built is too flimsy for my liking tho its a gr8 cabby if u move around it often ..... i just tried to press the upper portion of the cabby and it felt like i can make a hole with mine finger ......

anyways i think it will serve the purpose well vandal ......

hey Man Rahul... looks like you have got a very strong Finger:P. Yeah its a little flimsy though but really cool cabinet.

Recently got one SLB too.... it is under construction.
as soon as i get that soc. 939 m/b it will be finished.;)

(freaky, crazy when can i expect to get that expert m/b ?? i request you to kindly expedite the procedure with ITDepot people. please dont make me do unnatural , scary things like get that newer DFI Venus m/b (upgraded "expert" m/b....Limited quantity for now...) at a very high premium ....)

I see a difference of about 5 - 8 C on HDD temps with the extra 120mm fan attached to my P160's drive cage .... here is a picture of my temps right now. The HDD temps stay quite close to CASE/CPU temps. The extra 120mm fan seems to maintain a nice air flow over the HDDs - and it also keeps them nicely packed with DUST ... I have to clean the drives at least once a month :(

I fitted the box...but the corners tore a bit....I also paid the railways 1000 bucks because I was overweight...I was carrying the Z5300 also...
Earlier in September I also paid a similar amount to have the Z5500D sent home....
Now u see why I need everything to be light...and especially not bulky..the SLB thankfully fulfills on both counts :)
