Yeah meant corsair,has no adaptor bundled, do they normally give a adaptor with it?

No I haven't received any adapter with my TX850 either.

This plug is meant for the sockets pretty much common in the UK, Sgp, Malaysia and the Arab countries. Just get the usual cable from the local computer/electronics shop and be done with it.

And no Corsair doesn't bundle any adapter nor are they entitled to do so. :)

I just got an el cheapo ADAPTER from the market (Rs.18/-)

it felt wrong to use any other cable instead of the one bundled with my humongously costly VX450 (Aug 2010)

Try to get one from reputed brand lyk anchore...but m not sure if they make such adapter

That is the standard cable. I got that too. Get one of these.

I am currently using the cable i got with my coolermaster psu, will get a adaptor too.

I'm also using my old power supply cable with vx450 as i can't find and ISI mark adapter.

Just use any decent quality cable. Doesnt make any difference.

Alternatively get a 3Pin Plug from any shop and wire it up to your cable. Its a 15 min job.

When I bought my VX450 2 years back I got a proper Indian style Plugged cable. Bought it from itwares.

I had received the Indian power cable when I bought VX450, but it went kaput in 1 month and after RMA, I got the same type of cable as you got. Using another cable bought from a local computer store.

Yeah, it's the standard cable. I'm also using an adapter with it for my vx450.

Picked up the CX430 V2 a few days back. Corsair are still bundling the UK plug with their PSUs :facepalm:

Must mention, there was a label on the cable (wow that rhymed), that said you can cut the wire and put the correct plug if you have a different socket. Just seems a shame to cut a neat looking cable, and a bigger shame that Corsair would overlook something so essential.
 
If you are using a spike guard, the uk plug is ok - at least with a mx spike guard.

Edit : at least it has 3 pins, the cable with CM PSUs is even 'worse'.
 
Thats odd. I'm certain I and many other friends who all bought VX450 many years back got the Indian style cable.
 
Had got similer cable with my VX450 few years back. Luckily my power strip supports both Indian & this kind of plugs. Also had one Indian type bulky cable left from my earlier Antec SL450 which I didn't returned during RMA & it serves me whenever I remove my VX450 cable from spike...
