Government wants to make Hindi as national language

They are forcing hindi on everyone. Here's the latest incident: Sign in Hindi, Rajnath tells govt. servants

1) The publisher is THE HINDU. Infamous for such racist and selective journalism.
2) The article says and I quote "He requested government servants to sign their files in Hindi." The last I checked Request was not a synonym for Force.
3) We should be more bothered about that even though we are almost 1/6th or 1/7th of the world population Hindi is still not one of the UN recognized languages. The current Govt is working towards that.
4) This is the quote in the end of the article. Pls read it carefully and dont take it out of context.
Mr. Singh said he had nothing against any language. But Hindi was the language that connected every part of the country. “ Demand to make Hindi our official language came first from non-Hindi speaking leaders like Bal Gangdadhar Tilak,” he said.

Its been known all over for long that as per the constitution of India there is no official language in India but still Hindi is celebrated as National lang. Same as Rose being a national flower does not mean that other flowers are being ceased out of existence or govt is forcing ppl to plant roses.
And everyone will accept the fact that Hindi is one language that can be used in almost entire India for communication.

So let things be as they are. Dont spread misleading info. Again try using the forum for what the forum was intended for.

If the quoted text was your only reply, i would have "liked" your post. But you had to go about talking nonsense before calling the OP nonsense, didn't you? I am for learning as many as languages but end of the day I prefer English.
