GPRS access in Chennai?

I anyone using Airtel (or any other GSM provider) GPRS services in Chennai....
I was in Bihar last month and I saw some folks using the Airtel GPRS in areas where even dial-up is almost non-existent....

Apparently, they charge 99/- a month for unlimited access
The speed sux (~15kbps) but it is good to have it as a back up or for use while travelling.....
There is no info about the tariffs on the Airtel site and the Airtel call center guys are expectedly clueless... :ohyeah:

Wonder if there's something like that here in Vapi....
BTW, they do give GPRS Unlimited for around 600/- bux...

Gotta check it out...
 
In Bihar, they have unlimited GPRS for 99/- :O

If you can live with the painful speed.....

But for lack of better options, I guess it's good....

Anyway, Anyone frm Chennai who knows abt it, plz post back
