Graphic Cards GPU<40k

Study now :P But I am sure you will be tempted to play with titles like BF3, Batman arkham city, FIFA12, COD MW, RAGE etc etc... So get a 6950 now or even a 6870 HAWK will be enough till 7XXX comes out... :)
 
southern islands release is Q1 2012 so it can be 6 months at the longest during which you will probably buy a gfx because of the great games,trust me it will be that lucrative.what i propose is that you get a gtx 580 now and play heartily at the highest settings.one 580 should last this 1 year+ easily(it's a monster).when you feel that your system is running out of gas get another one and you are set for your 2014 goal!yes,obviously better cards will be present by that time but your only need is to play games at the max settings and these will be fulfilled by the 2 gtx 580's.Go by the needs and not by the trends.anyways you will still probably be able to sell these at that time and get a single high-end gfx of that generation putting you forward again.this strategy is the most "futureproof" IMHO.
