My GPU fan is not working properly for sometime now. GPU temperature is at about 85C (idle). The fan rotates about 5-10 degrees every 5 seconds. So, technically it has stopped working but maybe the fan isn't dead. I have cleaned the heatsink; I can rotate the fan freely with my finger and there is no obstruction.
What might be the problem? How do I go about repairing the fan? If it's not possible, please give me some advice on mounting a generic cooling fan on the GPU. FYI, I live in Pune.
I have the Rashi 3 Year Warranty, but I lost my bill. What is the procedure for RMA in such cases?
