Which PSU/SMPS will you be using? Rating + Brand

What resolution do you game on?
1920 / 1080 (max/best resolution for my 23 inch monitor)

Interested in Crossfire/SLI?
Not Sure, don't know much

Open to both Nvidia/ATI?
Am a little partial toward ATI, but whichever gives the most solid performance is what I shall go for!
Some factors to consider would be extras like Physics (or Physx?) and things like that, but that would not be clinchers.. Clincher most def has to be the most solid performance card!!!

Thanks for your help!

Get Sapphire toxic hd6950-15.5k| KitGuru[/url]

Can you link me to a seller in India for this card at that price? I found cheaper Sapphire 6950's here but they aren't the Toxic edition.

TIA.

Well, he has two options in that price range, do not discount the nVidia GTX 560 Ti ~ 13500/- [for the MSi Twin Frozr edition], 14500/- [for ASUS Direct CU II edition].

The AMD card is no laggard and handily beats the nVidia card on certain benches, while on traditional nVidia strong points [tessellation / plug-ins for productivity applications / driver stability], the nVidia card takes the cake.

For a quick comparison of the two contenders -- AnandTech - Bench - GPU11.

Also nVidia brings in advantages of CUDA and PHYSX, while AMD brings up Eyefinity and superior performance at almost all resolutions [even at higher than HD resolutions].

In the end OP has choices in this range. Hope this helped, Cheers!!

I was in for the rudest shock of my life on saturday...

I went to Richie Street, and apparently thanks to the dollar touching Rs.50, all electronics have shot up in prices... Seagate HDDs selling for 2K were going for 2.6K, the GPUs have gone by more than 2K... The HD6950s are 16K for the 1GB and 18.5K for the 2GB...

I decided to return home empty handed!!!

Yup,i have also returned home empty handed recently,i think rates have gone up because of dollar and diwali also, you should check after 2 weeks rates may just drop, hopefully.

The best option would be sapphire 6950 toxic edition 2gb-16k,you can wait for few weeks to prices to come down but do choose between sapphire toxic or msi twin frozr iii 6950 2gb and yes it can be unlocked to 6970.

I have the same requirements. I was considering MSI N 560GTX-TI HAWK or a better performing HD 6950. Does anyone have the latest prices? I live in Delhi. I know about SMC International but I think they are a bit expensive.
