    1. CPU - AMD ATHLON2 XII 2.4GHz
    2. Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2P
    3. GPU - ATI HD4650 DDR2 1GB
    4. RAM - corsair 2GB DDR3
    5. Monitor - Videocon 26'' LCD TV
    6. SMPS - Gigabyte Superb 460
  3. Q: Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)

The only options you have are the following --
  • AMD HD 7770 ~8500/-
  • AMD HD 6850 ~8500/-
  • nVidia GTX 550Ti ~7500/-

Out of the above choices, the best are the AMD HD 6850 and HD 7770, the 7770 is a newer card with lower power consumption and decent performance whilst the HD 6850 performs better but at a slightly higher power consumption, for a head-to-head comparison between the two, head here.

But considering your weak processor, even this card might be a worthy contender the HD 7750 ~6500/-. For a head-to-head between this and its elder sibling [the HD 7770], head here.

All the mentioned cards are available at SMC International in Nehru Place.

I think the HD 7750 will be enough because the OP has a dual-core Athlon II so it will really not be able to drive anything over the GTX 550Ti in my opinion, I maybe wrong.

As well OP just wants to play racing simulators, I think a base card like the HD 6770 and upwards will be sufficient for his needs.
