Graphic Cards Grafix Card gone bad ????

Hey Matez....
I recently hppnd to try out FIFA 2005 full ver on my PC......The installation n all other formalties were completed succesfully.....

BUT

Just whn the game is abt to start some Black coloured Zig Zag pattern appears just on the camera view of the game !!!!
And as a result I can view the ball n stuffs in my bottom half of the screen but nothin in the top half....:@

Wat cud be the prob ? :huh:

My Config :

AMD Athlon XP 2600+
Asus A7N8X-X
512 MB RAM @ 333
128 MB GeForce FX 5200

( Hop thts all the config U need..plz do ask if u need more...)

P.S : Plz don tell me the card sux.....:(

Well,

I know for a fact that, that card can handle Fifa 2005. Quite easily.

It maybe overheating. So when your playing the game, keep a Gfx cArd temp monitor. (Eg. Everest) on, and just minimize and see the temperatures.

Tnx for tht...But wher in Everest can u find the Temp monitor ?

And the prob starts pretty much the first time......I mean even b 4 the card is runnin for more than 15 minz or so.....

Well, check it out. Thats the only thing i can think of.

Is the Card fine in other games? Also which games?
 
The only gamez I had trouble was in UEFA Chapionz league Demo...but not whn the game starts...just the screens b4 the game beginz..the game is fine....

But in FIFA 05 the prob is there throu out .....

I have Quake Arena, UG2 without this prob.....
