GTA4...they are again concentrating only on a single city...as i've heard...but who knows...they might come up with a larger map than GTA:SA...lets hope for the best....
 
^^ it will take a LOT of space fr a single city only wid the next gen content and the dynamic characters and places that Rockstar has promised. Plus there is d issue of balancing out the cities and story and characters and plot and what not. Last thing any1 wants is another stalker like delay.
 
Hope they flesh out the co-op mode a little more in this,though san andreas co-op mode wasn't perfect..it was still fun,but the only part tht bothered me was when you strayed too far from your partner and tht's when the darn time limit starts where you get disconnected and back to being alone.
 
I just hope dis time d Graphics have a Realistic Feel to it ..... Given the power of Next Gen Consoles dat wont be too hard to do , rite ? Realistc graphics was one thing which made MAFIA such a classic , but i dont think GTA will go the Mafia way ..... i think its still gonna have the same old cartoonish feel to it which i absolutely hate :|

UK-based publisher Rockstar Games has announced that it will be using the Euphoria engine in its next-generation game titles.

Euphoria is an engine based on Dynamic Motion Synthesis, which simulates 3D character animation in real time on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms.

NaturalMotion is an Oxford, UK-based company that develops a number of different character-animation products, including the Euphoria engine.

The CEO of NaturalMotion, Torsten Reil, commented, "Euphoria is about giving people an interactive experience they have never seen before. We now have the processing power to simulate humans, and the possibilities for games are endless...In Rockstar, we have found a partner that shares this vision."

The announcement didn't state which Rockstar titles would use the engine, except to say that there had already been "several months" collaboration between the two companies, and that further announcements would be made at a later date.

Rockstar feeling Euphoric - News at GameSpot

Great now I'm more pumped up than ever in watching tht trailer,but if they can make it this realistic..guess ja[F*]ck thompson will be stuck to it's ass.I just wish it was 3:30 am now :)
 
Haha! I bet Jack Thompson is glued to his screen right now counting down the trailer, looking for clues to file his next lawsuit for. Anything to get it down before it releases!
 
Ppl's expectations are rising to a fever pitch..Just checked out a GTA 4 fansite and logged into their chat applet.You should see the kind of things ppl are expecting..like space missions including a space station to visiting back vice city,san andreas,liberty city.

Hmm,looks the discussion got a lot more interesting..one of them claims tht there won't be any ufo's in gta4 but they do exist in real life :S ...Now another guy is asking for a better version of a hot coffee mod and this time it should be realy detailed :O ..Looks like the discussion is going downhill,I think I'll get out.

Well,guess the rockstar site would be flooded..no matter if you can't see the trailer since this fansite promised to put up the trailer for d'load through torrent and even stream it.

I'm 100% sure Rockstar will include any 1 from :

1. An Alien with his UFO

2. The Bigfoot

3. A Ghost

The whole Bigfoot in San Andreas craze was so big, that Rockstar had to answer multiple times on sites like Gamespot that there is confirmed nothing like a "Mysterious Bigfoot" in the game. I was even a part of the hype, when there were groups, or search parties being formed in forums who would choose a specific area in the map and appoint people to survey it 24/7 (in game time) to check for sightings for Bigfoot.

Ofcourse there was nothing like that in the game, it sure was fun. We were going in Ranchers to terrain the mountainous area of the Whetstone locality (Around Mount Chilliad, where Bigfoot was the most rumoured to appear), and it was nothing like it, specially when it turned night, it triggered less traffic and fog all over the mountains.

I'm sure Rockstar saw all this hype and have put a bigfoot-type mystery in the game this time.

LOL!! I was too busy on tht goddamn desert looking for the mysterious phone booth.
 
lol, there was another one : The Ghost of Cj's Mother, in CJ's home at 12 in the night in front of the TV.

Another one which I tried was ghost sightings in the graveyard in Los Santos.

lmao!

Anyways, there are bets up everywhere that the city will be inspired from Boston (following the whole "The Departed" craze)

So any luck with Ghosts at the graveyard and tht of cj's mom??

This kinda reminds me of the ghost sighting in one of the hitman games where the ghost would be in the bathroom and you would be able to strangle the ghost and drag it's glowing body across the hallway.

Btw,didn't they say tht there was a zombie building or something...I tried searching it,but no luck.I got so bugged tht I wen't to the beach..killed a few hobos,couldn't find a snack stand to increase my health so wen't and got laid.
 
There was nothing, I did catch something here and there around midnight but I'm pretty damn sure it was just my imagination, all the caps on the internet claiming to have found the ghost were all photoshop jobs.

Pretty much the whole of gaming community in America and Europe is awake now on all sorts of GTA forums on the internet. Gamefaqs/Gamespot and IGN one's are on a roll (answer any thread and in 2 seconds its down below 3 another threads), and I'll be surprised if GTAforums.com can handle all the traffic on it right now only getting more second by second.
 
Just hope tht we are lucky enough to watch the trailer without the Rockstar site getting screwed up..

Let's see now,

Increased excitement-check

Looks like it's gonna be a long night..
