LA Noire?! ROFL!!
Okay, saw it in high-def finally! Saw it 4 times.
1. The graphics, are mouthwatering.
2. Its is set in Liberty City (New York City, The Statue Of Liberty is there).
3. It is not set in 60,70,80 or 90's. This game looks modern. I'm betting 2010.
4. The main character is a foreigner, who is involved in Trafficking and smuggling of "people" (prostitution, servants, etc). He has now arrived in Liberty City as means to find "new opportunities.
Well, that's no worse than Tommy Vercetti who butchered people and spent 15 years in Jail before heading down to Vice City, this is GTA for you!
Though, the New York idea has been thoroughly used. There already is True Crime : New York City that maps the whole Manhatten area pretty accurately but all the buildings are repetitive and lack a lot of variety. Lets see how well GTA expands Liberty City.
It sure was fun (getting the trailer an hour after the official countdown, damn!). Now I'm off to get some sleep.
