Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar's latest GTA game - is set to release on PC in early 2014 according to a report on eurogamer. They have got their report based on multiple sources in the gaming industry, and they have a good track record with previous leaks so this very well may be correct.

The game came out on consoles last month on the PS3 and the Xbox 360, and now it seems like the PC version will launch in the first quarter of 2014.
The Computer chip maker - Intel's director of marketing Chris R. Silva said, "At least with Grand Theft Auto, I don't think it'll be console-exclusive very long. But that's what happens when you have a brand new launch with two companies that have lots of money trying to make sure they have content." Also, he added some sparks to the conspiracy theory and said "Somebody paid a lot of money to make sure that title was exclusive."

This is definitely good news for the millions of PC gamers who are looking forward to add GTA V to their steam library. There was a change.org petition which was created earlier this year, calling for the PC version of GTA V - which has already crossed over 6 lakh signatures and counting (I signed it too, and you should as well!).

Finally, all PC-only gamers will stop whining about it in every comment section on every gaming site.

Console manufacturers worth blamable here for stopping the PC version?
Nah...the profitability of console market is what forces big studios to concentrate there more. I'm sure console manufacturers try to woo studios to make exclusive games for their own consoles, but I don't think they say "make it for only consoles and leave out PC." The gaming market of consoles has always been bigger than the PC market; only in the past 15 years or so did PC gaming flourish, whereas video game consoles have been going on for decades.
