Mostly a over-heat problem. :S

did u check the GPU temps on load? Which Forceware are u using?

My friend had a similar problem recently due to overheating of the GPU..had to get it replaced.

I have faced similar problems with my motherboard and RAM and had to get the board replaced.

i changed the driver version from 77.13 to 63.13(the one which i got with the card) played gta temp55c.

please post your complete PC specs with PSU ratings etc. The psu could be the culprit as well.

6600gt is having some problems...ive read on other forums as well...there are patches for certain games avaiable to play specific games

No games crashing on my setup, except for nascar racing 2003 season with forceware 71.89.
Any of the other previous sets fixes that though.
