Nice, Mid range cards are generally 9" long, Nvidia cards are 10.6", 4850 X2 is 11.6" :p

Case should have 2" spacing between ATX mobo edge (12.6x9.6) and 3.5" HDD bay, then any card will fit.
 
hi i am new here . were i live they dont sell good pc hardware
my sister is going the the uk and i want her to buy me a new pc case
to assemble my new pc in it ..

my problem is i cant return the case if my long 9800gtx + didnt fit in

i saw some videos on u tube :

the videos proves it fits in the tempest and the 9800gtx fit in the antec 900

my question is : is the 9800gtx+ the same size on the 9800 gtx ?
will it fit in the antec 900 ? coz i want it better depend on what i find
in the stock thanks

The 9800GTX+ gets a die shrink and increased clocks for the GPU and shader. The PCBs measure exactly the same length - 10.5".

It would fit comfortably in a A900 but the Tempest would be slightly better considering you're spending close to the same amount for the A900 and you get better real estate in the Tempest. It's an E-ATX compatible enclosure. In addition, cable management is going to be a lot tougher in A900. The A902 would be better in this case. Doubt the availability though. I would reckon the Tempest though.
 
hell yea ill get the tempest , and save 30 pounds and buy a mouse

^ You've not posted what monitor you got, but with the other components you already have, you should have gone for a better graphics card IMHO :)
 
i have my old lg flatron t711s 22 inch , still in a good shape i want an lcd 24 inch
but not sure if i will raise money for it atm

btw i have the zotac 9800gtx+ 512 mb amp which is over clocked to 750 clock speed
and 1300 memory cloak ..

in 200 series is not in my budget ..
the only choice left here is the HD 4870
i have to admit that is better but i am a nvidia pro user
and when i bought my card few weeks ago the HD 4890 wasnt out
yet so the HD 4870 was still too expensive at yoyo shop

back at that time i thought of the gtx 260 but at yoyo there was
only that available

i knew its better than the 9800gtx + in theory but that amp card release date was way newer and i feared going for the 260 gtx Core Clock: 576

i mean that a long way to 750 core clock. i dont care about the few extra memory .
tbh . am not running it on big screens..
i passed through stages deciding what to get with the limited buying
window i have (1 shop , 1 sister lol )
but i tell you this : with this nvidia ,ati . battles going on they
simply crazed the market . changes are fast and today s heroes will
quickly die tomorrow .
i have strong infra structure and i dont intend to keep the 9800gtx+
for long , am not a pro sli guy . i like new high end cards
soon when dx11 go out and my card will start getting owned
ill just grab another cool one , ati or nvidia . who ever wins this war
haw long did the hd 4870 last ? or the gtx9800? before they get
owned by better and cheaper cards ? only few weeks lol
