Great Concern, and serious lookin for our P2P Section

Hey all the mods and admins:-



Our P2P Section requires a serious lookin in terms of its handling and the rules set here!!!!!

I have been a proud member of Tech Enclave for 1 Year now,But watching its reputation

going down and it getting blacklisted in P2P community, Private Trackers World is really sad!!!!!

Few of the important reason being:-

1) Its openly visible to public(means not a member of TE) and newbies of TE, making

those secret information visible to all making us all vulnerable!!!

2) Its Account Giveaway and Trade Thread, no torrent community tolerates that,

specially when they can easily see it.I can see that out trading thread has been closed for now,

but I think it should be completely deleted

Also, a separate thread created for account Giveaway by psyph3r, whose utility is already

over, must be deleted as well

3) People are openly posting there screen shots of their ratio proofs, without editing there Account ID, RATIO, UPLOAD,

and other necessary making them vulnerable. Some of the members have even been even banned from tracker bringing

bad name to the community. This includes one of the top Invites giver of our community!!!!!

Suggestions:-

1) I think admins should work up, to block direct public access to P2P section atleast!!!!

2) Newbies should not be immediately allowed access to P2P section, there should be a

minimum cut off level in terms of period of membership, posts and activity!!!! Also two

separate sections in P2P be created, one open to relatively new members with real stringent

rules....And another accessible to relatively older and more dependable members, with

relatively lenient rules. But then access right to these must reserved properly using nice

coding work and proper testing before it is used in full fledged way!!!

Its my suggestion, and I hope mods and admins look seriously into this!!!!!

I rustled up a guide some time back, detailing the various aspects of the ratio proofs that people do not know, or don't care about, and how to properly edit a ratio proof so that it can be posted online without revealing the user's identity.

I don't think people are overly concerned about their account safety. Most don't understand the effort the people put in in building up buffers and maintaining ther accounts. For those people its like, "So what I got banned from a tracker once? I will simply make a new account!"

Yeah right, but I am talking about a much bigger problem!!

The name of TE is at stake, Trackers have been blacklisting our community and they ban members found here trading.... As tracker staff can easily access our forum!!!

Though a nice way to avoid that is to maintain a seperate emailid and account id here and at private tracker community...

But people dont do that.... Thats why this suggestion!!

It seems, P2P section is not at all visible to the public, non members of Tech Enclave.../

PS: Can you tell the details of changes made please????

The Trading seems to have been blocked atm, we should make strict rules, and post in sticky in this section... prohibiting Trading Completely!!!

Also, I think about sharing invite only the user who need invite must post in there requests keeping the user giving the invite annonymous,

and the screen shots dealing must be done through PM, or even better the user giving away may ask there profile link through PM.....

Phoenix have made this Tutorial few days back, about how to edit ratio proofs before posting it, its should be moved to P2P section and made sticky:

Also I feel a separate secret Subforum be made within P2P Section, allowing access to old members only or members crossing certain threshold,

so that to completely avoid any possible intrusion there....And there we can deal with high level tracker invite giveaways!!!

Safe for giver as well as taker!!!

2) Dark Secret

associated with Trade of invite is still there in P2P section after my repeated request and explaining comprehensively the reasons of why it should be removed.

Specially the second one is too dangerous, as its still open!!!

Please, Safin look into it Please!!!
 
Well no idea why a reputed site like TE allows trading.

However please do close my thread as stated above.
