Hi, I have an Acer travelmate 2424 laptop which I've been using over an year. Recently, I've been facing the "green screen" problem, that is, all regions which should be black appear as green criss crossed lines. This is a hardware problem as it appears everywhere, even in the bios screen. From what I could find on the internet, the problem is related to either a faulty vga-lcd connection, or else static buildup.
As the warranty period expired a couple of months ago, could anyone suggest what I should do?
