GTA 4 Progress Lost!!

Hi,

I was playing this game on Vista but due to file operation problems I decided to switch back to XP. Now earlier when it used to save, said it was making an online save, for which I needed to be logged in to LIVE.

Now after I am back on XP, i start up the game after install and log in to LIVE and .wtf... all my progress lost. I checked on forums and found that despite it being an online save, I would still need to backup the save files, for which I am not even sure that it works.

Now I had reached where Me and Roman are at a new safehouse after the old one is burnt down by Dimitri's men.

Is there anyway I can resume my game, or if any one has a save game around the same point and if someone can help me use the save game file for me to get this up and running.

XP and Vista saves are at different save locations , you need to copy the save games on Vista to Xp for it to work.

On XP :-

C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

C:/Users/(user name)/AppData/Local/Rockstar Games/GTA IV
