GTA IV for PC in October

hmmm seems about right,considering the original release date for the console version was originally OCT 07 and the pc version generally releases a year later than its console cousins....

but boy am i excited its atleast confirmed...
 
I don't know if I can wait that long :(

Why don't they release all these games across all consoles and PC at the same time?
 
Also there are rumors going around that both XBOX 360 and PS3 are going to get a price cut after the release of GTA 4 sometime in Feb.

They'r using Marketing streategies here... like for eg. I'm desperate for GTA's then i'll buy a PS3 version and then in october they'll add some small things and release it... then i'll buy the pc version !

This is one of them... and this sounds funny but being a fan of something is sometimes stupidity for others :P
GTA's games are known to release a year after its launch on consoles.

He He.. I am also waiting for it to happen. I already have the PS3, so if the XBOX 360 price comes down below 20k, I may add it to my bag. :ohyeah:

Anyway, I am hoping that GTA 4 would have some better handling and control scheme. I am a fan of the free roaming sort of games, but GTA was horrible on the PC as as as controls are concerned.

noooo. lol. youre desperate for gta then youll by an XBOX360(/ps3) to play it (i know i want to) ! so now youve bought an xbox360 with the xbox360 version of the game instead of waiting for a pc release. maybe later if it has small addons in the pc game youll buy that too. i think thats how the marketing strategy is.
i even bought a playstation 2 just to play games like the warriors and bully and manhunt 2, cause ill know theyll never have a pc port.

GTA games are always well polished ports onto PC. KB+M works better with GTA and give more camera control than controller(auto aim- thats rubbish), but thats just my opinion

But why have they confirmed about the PC release date?? Who can wait for freakin 9 months.....did rockstar just got pregnant or wat?? :no:
 
Hmm. I hope I don't need to sell a couple of organs to fund a system to play this. :|

The previews are saying that the control system is a bit better, combat is a bit like Gears of War.

I was seriously contemplating a PS3/360 purchase to play it but now i don't have to...

IMO the system req's will not be too high and most current rigs would be able to play the game at mid-high settings with decent draw distances... thats been a charachteristic of GTA games

haha that's one more strategy u got there :P

I bought PS1 just to play Final Fantasy VIII & IX and ps2 for all gta's, FFX, god of war 2, black etc.

Im gonna buy PS3 now(xbox sucks along with vista, billy lost it all here :bleh: ) Sony always had good Japanese games !
