GTA IV refuses to boot in XP?

Installed the game after installing SP3. Original game. Still placed the no DVD crack. The game refuses to boot. There is the command prompt which closes and leads me to the desktop once again. Nothing! :no:

Social club is not launching either.

no DVD crack exe files are not so reliable, sometimes they contain bug and even end up at a BSOD, try using ur original exe

Never use crack files with original games. Several of them capture your CD-Key and send it to the dev besides run the game to not arouse any suspicion.

Did you make efforts to update to the latest patch by the way.

Update with both patch1 and patch two and ur problem will be solved.And y the hell r u using crack with the original dvd.You can always make a backup of ur original dvd and use that dvd.

Any true PC gamer worth his salt will prefer to use a no-CD crack, original copy or not.
