1. Can somebody please post benchies of XP VS Vista of GTA IV on 2GB RAM cz a guy reported that in Vista SP1 he got 24 FPS avg while roaming(not driving) which shot up to 50+ and 30+ while driving in XP. So...

2. Alternately please post Vista 2GB VS 4GB in GTA IV only.

3. Also, what speed of E7300 or E8400 can compete with a Q6600 at stock?
 
1. No idea since im using only Vista 64 and it plays too well for me to bother.

2. With Vista is better u have 4GB, no matter what game u play. GTA IV really uses a lot of memory so it would help too.

3. There is no competition, U need to have atleast close to 4Ghz to able to compete with a Quaddy running at 3GHz. :)
 
Acc to benchies a Q6600 at stock competes with E8400 @ 3.6GHz. If that is so then my CPU should perform close to a Q6600 at stock, maybe 10% slower.
 
I just couldn't get GTA to run on XP SP3. Runs smoothly on vista x64. Getting ~48fps. (h/w in siggy)
