GTA III was outed for iOS and Android devices last year, celebrating GTA III's 10th anniversary. And now, it's turn for GTA: Vice City to make it's way to smartphones and tablets. GTA: Vice City was launched on October 29th, 2002 but iOS and Android users will have to wait a little bit longer to play their old favorites on their latest iOS and Android products.
GTA: Vice City on iOS and Android
Rockstar's hit franchise is hitting iOS and Android devices iteration after iteration every year on their anniversaries. Stunning, how these open world games are now running on devices fitting into our pockets. There was a time people would buy a new graphics card or upgrade their RAM to play these games. Now, you just need a Droid or an iPhone (or iPad/iPod for that matter).
GTA: Vice City was originally launched on October 29th, 2002 and is scheduled to hit mobile devices before the end of this year. The wait won't be long as we barely got 2 months left.
Rockstar promises the following for their iOS and Android port of the once uber-popular drives-you-crazy that-amazing-game GTA: Vice City.
The best part is that the game comes for less than $10 giving it excellent value.
GTA: San Andreas next year? Who knows? We do hope so. One day Rockstar might get GTA IV running on mobile hardware (at the pace of evolving hardware, that day doesn't seem too far off).
