Galvanizer

Incredible level of detail on those kerbs and the tarmac (bottom).
The cars themselves as detailed on the inside as they are on the outside.

Sound effects surpassing even the benchmark set by the original.
Every whine, rumble and transmission backfire reproduced to eerily realistic levels.
Completely re-defined tyre physics.

Will feature the FIA GT seasons 2003 and 2004 (M3's and MC12's :ohyeah: ).
This is gonna blow away GT5 like a windsock.

9800pro's and 6600gt's will do fine at 1280x960, it's just hi-res texture work :P Sorta like Source.
It's the same gmotor2 engine as GT Legends which looks/performs better than GTR1, so even better.

A decent cpu and atleast 1gb ram will be required though. All cars use 1024x1024 liveries as their lo-res variants, I am guessing 2048x2048 for max quality.

It has 3 modes - arcade, semi-pro and simulation.
They realise they can't survive with a niche demographic alone, they need the sales.

They don't promote the franchise nearly enough, nobody even knew it was even being made untill 2 months ago when they came out with the May release date.

wow..the car looks great but the walls and that steel structure looking a bit flat in that screenie. gotta try this game for sure. :D

Yea as I said, it's just hi-res texture work. Real tracks don't look much different anyway, they have the same cold sterile look.
You don't have the liberty of adding fancy blur effects here.

It has realtime light condition changes between day/dusk/night though, looks damn cool.
And proper water reflections on the track when it rains, complete with random puddles and the dry-line that forms over time as drivers use a particular racing line over laps, you stick to this line for maximum grip.
Realtime weather changes ofcourse.

Also the already extensive vertex damage system has been further improved, now parts that come off upon collision can further break down into additional pieces depending on the impact. Avoiding other cars debris is very much a part of the real racing experience.
