Graphic Cards GTX 690 Reviews

From a gaming performance perspective we haven’t seen a dual-GPU card reach the performance of a pair of high-end cards in SLI/CF since the Radeon HD 4870X2 in 2008, so it’s quite refreshing to see someone get so close again 4 years later. The GTX 690 doesn’t quite reach the performance of the GTX 680 SLI, but it’s very, very close. Based on our benchmarks we’re looking at 95% of the performance of the GTX 680 SLI at 5760x1200 and 96% of the performance at 2560x1600. These are measurable differences, but only just. For all practical purposes the GTX 690 is a single card GTX 680 SLI – a single card GTX 680 SLI that consumes noticeably less power under load and is at least marginally quieter too.

Funny thing to note is that in single card benches, now the 7970 is almost at the same performance level or faster as compared to a single 680.( barring Battlefield 3 which is still way faster on the 680)

nice collection of links

This is the best looking dual card i've ever seen (before it was GTX295)

If its cheaper getting from US websites rather then India after comparing the shipping prices and everything then we can get it from US websites only.

Yeah and to that add customs and it will be like 70K I think.

I would get one if I could get it for 1000$ ie. 1000x53.47= 53,470 INR.

Looking for someone coming from the US, but then again finding one at retail price is tough.

If I get a group order then I can arrange something. Like it should be atleast 20 orders minimum.

Yo ! got one here, the asus gtx 690 but not from USA although originally it was the plan, but got one with indian warranty bill etc, hey you got that too right? @Infected or waiting for group order? Per newegg today and the exchange rate its 58k plus....

Group Order!!! Ha ha ha ... Saif Bhai Seriously!! How many can we group for this one....:(

You know how I got one!!!

Honestly, I could have got one from Canada/US as I have a friend coming down ;) and she would bring it for sure,
but I just thought its better to get it locally. Plus my dealer gave me a nice offer so I didn't wanna let him down, I can't really disclose that.

:)

Yeah thats true ;) @Infected i was about to get an evga(since they have intl warranty) one but unfortunately it didnt worked out so had to go with asus one finally. Yeah you may not disclose it probably hahaha although its worth hiding if you got it for less than 65k else everyody knows its 67k
