I have purchased Acer aspire one d250 for 14000 .

I m running windows 7 ultimate edition on the same.Due to lack of proper knowledge i have installed direct x 9 c edition on it.

What should be the next step?

I heard it support direct x 11 .Will there be any significant impact if i install direct x 11 on it.

To be very frank i dont know the difference between direct x 9 and 11 .
Can u please guide me.
 
First of all, Windows 7 already have Direct X 11. You should not have installed Direct X 9 on it. Now try to remove Direct X 9 from add/remove programs or type this by clicking in start "appwiz.cpl". And remove Direct X 9.

even if you install directx 9c there wont be any problem because directx installers are made to update the sytem so if you run an installer of lower version it wont do any change to the system.

run "dxdiag" command to verify the current version.

there is nothing to worry. even i have installed direct x 9 on my win7 system. some programs don't work properly without direct x 9 files.

dxdiag will show direct x 11 on your system. only the direct x 9 files will be added to your system without removing the v11 files.
