Guidance Needed for hosting packages - India vs US Server

hey guys,

i'm new here, but needed some immediate feedback.

i'm going to have heavy traffic on my site... what would guys suggest

- a VPS Server from the US

- or a dedicated server in India

Cheap Hosting is not what i'm looking for... but looking for reliable and fully managed hosting.

The ping time on indian servers is 5 to 20 ms, whereas hosting on us servers has a ping time of about 200 to 300 ms.

what would you guys suggest.. india hosting or us costing... all my customers are going to be from india only.

Whats really important is: Post Sales Service.

I would however recommend US. Mine own personal site is with an US SP.

even if you do get indian traffic, it will be routed via elsewhere
