Storage Solutions Guide me about HDD 1TB...which should i buy??

dear friends i have 160gb samsung HDD.i want to add an internal HDD of size 1TB.which company should i buy whether samsung or seagate.i want to add this extra HDD with my old HDD 160gb of samsung.give me information pls....

Samsung HDD doesnt comes with warranty from company....

Its better to buy WD or Segate

Seagate 7200.12 has almost comparable performance to WD black but it is way cheaper... will cost u around 3200

@OP me also in same case 1TB internal segate or WD really confused :S but i will be using it for storage purpose.

Get Seagate 1TB 7200.12... Good performance.... Warranty of both WD & Seagate is now same ie. 3years only...

Off late a lot of WD have failed & RMA has got worse compared to Seagate...

In prime abgb the 1.5 TB version is selling for 4600 approx ,would get this rather then the 1 TB

I have no experience with Seagate's new HDDs but my 1.5yr old Seagate is so-so. It died on me 2 times in the last 1.5yrs though Seagate replaced it without any questions. I just got a WD 1TB Green before a couple of months and I am certainly impressed with it so I would suggest you go with WD.
