I am soon relocating to Gurgaon from Mumbai. Any suggestions on good broadband service providers in sector 56 near Jalvayu Towers?

HI, I stay in sector - 43 gurgaon.

Try youtele (YOU Broadband & Cable India Limited: Leading High Speed Broadband Internet Service provider in India. Super Fast Connection.) if avaiable in Sector - 56 or not. This is best cable internet provider. They have some pretty good plans. :)

Else you will have to go for Airtel or BSNL.

I would suggest not to go for BSNL as I have had a terrible experience with the kind of service they provide here.

Also there is Tikona, that provides wireless internet service. Have never used it so I wonder how good it is.

Hope this helps..

Hey Thanks for the quick reply. Just spoke with them and they do not provide service in that area. I am not very keen on Airtel because of there abysmally low FUP caps for new connections. Any other thoughts and suggestions?

Well, mate in that case you do not have much options then.

I used to stay in Sector - 46 and I tried all the operators but none had their lines going there. So finally I had to take up with BSNL and I had terrible time with them.

BSNL is your only choice left. Their CS is not really that good ut i rarely had any problems with it. I was in sec-56 now in sec-57.

Some feedback after my movement to my new home. There were three options available to me, one was a local cable operator who had not yet wired the building as it was a new society. Would have taken a month to get connectivity. Somebody suggested Tikona. Great user experience until installation, very poor service post installation. There were packet losses upto whopping 18% on my connection. The installation guys came and switched towers. Packet losses remained, now reduced to 9%. Pathetic speeds which were half of the advertised speeds of 750kbps as per their own speedtests. Got fed up and applied for Airtel 4 Mbps Impatience plan and I am a happy camper. As I am already having an expectation of FUP cap of 25 GB at installation, I guess I am fine with it.
