Forum Feedback Guruji search on TE not that good?

I was trying to search on "Dell E248WFP" to see if there are any reviews information on the LCD, but the search returned ZERO results. For sure there are many posts I've seen with the search term in them, and it doesn't show up in the Guruji results :S

Something is wrong with Guruji search for sure.

Its not finding anything. Not even simple word search for REVIEW resulted in anything.

Better use Advanced search for now until admins figure out whats wrong.

Well since guruji was the Indian search engine, i had put that up hoping the results would be better and more relevant to India. I have interacted with the guruji management about this also and pressed them to improve the code over the past 6 months.

But i agree the results are bordering on mediocre and not improving. We will think of reverting back to google.

BTW the 'Blue style' has google search , if you dont mind using a different skin.

speaking of skins...

i had suggested the staff abt a certain sub black skin i saw and liked at Black Cat Games .. didn got any response regarding that..

Mind saying a few words on y we havent got too many skins in the options?

cos too many skins are difficult to manage.

There are many template edits and it is very difficult to port them with every new software release. Its one of the reasons why TE has to go down all the time for long periods every time there is a upgrade.

Dear..just coz 'U' think the green skin is ugly doesn't make it ugly for everyone else. hyeah: that aside, even if I remove the green skin, its unlikely u'll get to see a new skin as its replacement. :bleh:

the reason for this limited choice is already mentioned by safin. also, the green skin is there as a variation of blue skin and majority of the changes we make to the blue skin automatically gets reflected in green...and don't u ever call that green skin ugly again.
