I am looking for a new lappy for my younger bro.He has selected the model.
Here is the spec of the same.
1)Do tell me is it worth it?.
2)Can I get it cheaper than this?.Any dell employees out here?
3)Can I get a better machine than this for this price.

I suggest try to look at the Studio 14 / 15 series from Dell, they look awesome...I somehow find the XPS series dated (read common)...the Studio series is new. Besides try to get in 4GB ram and a x64 OS Even if you have to trade the P8400 for the T5800 (which is no slouch either). The extra gigabyte of ram and the 64 OS together might being in more noticable difference in performance in day to day use than the P8400.

the OP is talking about the studio XPS and not the old outdated XPS

the studio xps is the latest that dell has to offer in home segment.
