Can I go for an i5 to save money? Also, if I have to go for a cheaper GPU, which one would you suggest?
I'm looking to cut costs since I need to add a 22" monitor in this config too.

You can go for i5 and save approx 7k. Also since you have mentioned that you going to add SSD later, it should save you another 8k for now.

For GPU, GTX950 is pure VFM. Next lower GPU is 750Ti but since GTX950 have been introduced, VFM-ness of 750Ti have been reduced.

Also do mention which exact model of PSU you are having. If it is VX450, you are good to retain it; otherwise consider investing in a good PSU also.
