Can someone explain the ending in HL2 ? I completed the game 20 mins. back. But didn't catch the meaning of the ending. After u destroy Breen and the portal. Alyx tells Gordon that they would have to leave immediately but then an explosion occurs and TIME stops. Enters the G-Man telling Gordon that he would have further missions for him and that Gordon had done well in the mission given to him. But what happens to Alyx, Dr. Eli & Judith ? Anyone know the answer ?
 
well i guess they made such an ending to keep up the half life tradition, i mean look at all the old hl games all of em have endings like this providing more questions that answers:P
i kinda liked the ending especially when the gman before exiting straightens his tie and then leaves .............. and as u know an expansion is coming up so that might answer some of our questions, but knowing valve im guessing after completing even aftermath ull have even more questions unanswered :P as they say the saga continues............
 
Any idea as to when the xpansion is supposed to be released ? And ur fav. weapon in the game ? Mine is the Zero Gravity gun. Fun throwing the combines at each other and using the energy ball to kill Gunships, Striders and Combines.
 
Well, the meaning of the ending is quite obvious I think. "All will be explained in Half-Life 3 " is what it means. Of course, it will probably explain what happened after the events in Half-Life 2 and will leave you wondering the same thing at *its* end.
 
Ha, Ha , Ha.... Shhhhhhhhh !!! Don't make fun of the HL TRADITION or else the combines will come hunting for u...........
 
yeah i agree the gravity gun was awesome fun really reinvented interactivity within the enviroment, i specially enjoyed using it in ravenholm that was awesome fun using the circular blades to chop the zombies heads legs whatever offf!!!!!.... and boy in the end the super charged gravity gun..... tossing thos combines around..........damn feel like playing the game all over again............
doom3 roe had a pathetic excuse of a gravity gun counterpart : the grabber... even this i must say is kinda fun to grab the energy balls and throw it back at the imps and stuff......
