Praks bhai, one suggestion for you.
1) Find out some TE'ian in bangalore who wants to buy a new 1TB hard disk
2) Both of u go out and buy a HDD of his choice.
3) Give it to him after 2 days after ur copying is done, and with a healthy discount of a few hundred rupees :)

I can't see why anyone would refuse such an offer !!
I guess people would stand in line to get this offer :)

Already in talk with few people. Yet to find person from Bangalore who is planning to take 1 TB HDD. Found one with 500 GB plan.

Guys, Be very very careful when connecting SATA cable, damn I just connected wrong cable (damn all red cables looks same :() & whole 1 TB formatted.

Didn't get you....AFAIK it is impossible to connect SATA cable wrongly...it has a tab which prevents connecting in the wrong direction.

Or did u connect some other cable to the hard disk instead of sata cable :huh:
I don't know what other cable would fit

had connected SATA cable without seeing STICKER on HDD. Have 3 SATA HDD in cabinet,

Wanted to format 160 GB & Plugged cable on 1 TB. All gone :(

Thank you bro. Its required in Bangalore. I would not like to risk your HDD by sending & receiving by courier. Will look forward to any Bangalore member.
