I came across this a few days ago while randomly browsing around but forgot to share.
A Toshiba internal harddisk 3.5" 500GB at 7200RPM and as per the info. it carries 3 years warranty (afaik Seagate gives only 1 year and WD 2 years for similar drives) for only 3200rs.
Its a good deal and should give the harddisk sellers here a run for their money.

If this drive has 3 years warranty why are ppl still buying Seagate's which have only 1 year warranty? Weird.

I don't know, as I am not a technical guy,
Someone gave this logic of platter system differs
So it performs inferior to Seagate and wd drives.
I have used Toshiba before, absolutely no issues.

I know about the platters and cache but there's no real world difference, unless the drives have faster rpm's etc.
I think its due to the lack of awareness and quality doubt. My first harddisk was a Hitachi. Bought around a decade ago. Its still alive and kicking a$$.
