Hi guys,
I have a 10 months old Spica on which I have installed custom ROM. The earphone jack has become loose hence any earphones give very weird noise. I want to try to get warranty repair of this phone (I hope warranty should be good for a year).

Will the service centre create problems in honouring the warranty because I have installed custom ROM? Defect is purely hardware related. Any similar experiences with Samsung service? Should I flash back the original ROM? It is a pain to get back the original ROM, then again flash the ROM of my choice so I want to avoid it if possible.

thanks
Amit

Please google it. The orignal samsung 2.1 ROM is available in a few websites (check out samdroid) and the same can be flashed in ur spica using the ODIN software and then go to the service center
