Haryana becomes fifth BJP-ruled state to ban sale of meat

It seems the parties/ministers have got the orders from high command and converge towards a point while barking about some or the other fundamental issue.

The ban on beef in JnK has to be a monumental buffoonery.
 
I gotta agree with both ugly looking girls targeted yesterday.. Hindusthan is definitely inching towards BANisthan.
 
Everyone these days is trying to force their shit on others. So why not the jains??

Although as someone who consumes about 2 kgs of meat every week, I can't be happy, I have suffered worse things in life at the hands of other religious groups.

Historical?? You don't have to go back. Just go to mid east. Pork is banned in all countries. I never hear anyone apologizing for banning pork?

Minority appeasement was Indian definition of Secularism when I checked last...

Somehow Jains and Brahmins don't fit in, inspite of statistically being minorities.

After businessman friendly policies, virtual onion ban & meat ban now ; This Govt is of the, by the & for the Jains & Gujarati s.

Yups that is an incorrect comparison. Islamic nations are really not known to be secular. Where as India shouts secularism from every roof top > 6 feet off the ground....! All ready India is so backward in ideology and mindset, coupling that with the ME thought process will send us back another 100 years..! LOL.
 
No need to read the news.. Hard liquor is available in state owned shops named BEVCO. you will not find any difficulty in finding hard liquor in Kerala. Only thing is that price is high comparing to other states .

Good to see so many people who love the idea of individual liberty and choice. I am assuming you had a similar response to the banning of Satanic Verses, The innocence of Muslims and the Red Sari in India

Guys. how about this!! All the people against bans get together and organize a public screening of 'The innocence of muslims', followed by 'Fitna' and then followed by a public reading of the Satanic Verses. Considering the wide protests against beef ban, you should have no problems getting supporters or money.

I hope some of you take lead and organize a fund raiser. I will contribute whatever I can.

Now with this post you are targeting a particular community, if thats the case why cant we do a public screening of Zakir Naik's speeches, Owaisi's speeches , Ahmed deedat's speeches and screen them in all multiplexes and TV channels ?and then even i will support your cause !!

Beef ban doesnt affect only the minorities, there are people from the majority religion too who consume Beef, which is higher than the amount of beef consumed by minorities (remember 10% of majority will be higher than 80% of minority when you look in numbers )
