isnt this one of those lava lamp thingy's? you will find this a lot in manish market/crawford market.

^^ No... It is not a Lava Lamp... It is like an hourglass. Filled with coloured liquid. The liquid keeps dripping into the lower cylinder. Once done, u turn it over and it starts again.

I tried at Musafirkhana... didn't get it... :(
 
That thing is quite common. You can visit your nearest gift shop e.g. Archie's etc for the same.
 
speaking of lava lamps, anyone see ndtv india? they have some type of lava lamp type screensaver running in lcd tv's behind the newsreader. wonder where to get those screensavers from.

^^ I tried quiet a few Archies and other 49-99 Gift shops... Not available. :(

I asked a friend to buy this for me as he has an HDFC card and he told me that it is not worth more than 150 rupees... :O

Anyone has an idea about the price of this one in the local market?? Is the ebay seller trying to cheat me?? :P
