Has anyone tried DD-RWT on Netgear Routers ?

I am a new member here. Just would like to know if there is any one here who has upgraded their netgear router with dd-wrt. I need some guidance.

May I know if there is way to have the torrent client running on R7000 so that I dont have to keep my pc on while downloading torrents? Does dd-wrt give this?

I am total noob on this, how is it to get back to the original firmware in case of any issues? Any hidden issues like warranty being void etc if I get into custom firmware booting?

one sec- the r7000 now supports torrenting on the latest netgear firmware including http and ftp download support
just attach a usb drive and you are ready to go
