^ my sisters laptops got infected with a wierd no mozilla and no orkut virus???

^^ i think indian IPs are bieng blocked ,cuz even from my coll (isp ?) i cant acces it

Neither demonoid.com nor demonoid.cc opens on my home Fivenet or mtnl account. It doesn't open at work either, but I have no idea what my work's ISP is. However, it does open after I CTRL+F5 several times. Really, really strange.

All Demonoid pages load for me but I can't download .torrent files, they result in blank pages. And this is the only site I use :/

I just started to use Gpass btw, and it's a really easy workaround since it's an offline app... install Gpass and start your browser/utorrent from within Gpass and problem solved.

They don't make claims to collecting any information, and they may not but we can't be sure :) I'm not too worried since I only use it to download torrents, which is not more than 10-15 minutes a week :)

Hey Rio I was wondering if there was anychance you could send me a demonoid invite code my boyfriend has been trying to get on there for almost 4 months now and you seem to be a nice person.
Thanks,
orenda

I read on the demonoid forums that there is a faulty router somewhere in the US. As for demonoid, they claim that they are not blocking anything from India.

Demonoid is still not working for me. I just get blank pages and if I am lucky the homepage. I am on airtel Pune. Apparently BSNL guys can access it so this has got to be something to do with Airtel.

Sucks big time cause this was the only torrent site I use and tried to keep a good ratio.

Even BSNL ppl cant download any torrents..

Secondly,

Download any torrent from Demonoid > Change Ur IP by Reconnecting (if u got a dynamic one)> Start Torrent in ur client

Presto !!

The download does not counts into ur account .. No More Ratio Hassles .. :D

ya, thats the whole idea of torrent, sharing and its doesn't hurt to upload, at least as much as you download. That keeps the system going.

Clearly someone is blocking Indian Ips because I can access demonoid easily from any proxy connections. Hope this gets resolved soon.

According to the discussion in the Demonoid forum, the problem is India specific and Demonoid has nothing to do with it. The trouble is originating at the Router where the under sea cables (used by ALL Indian ISPs) surface in US. There is a traceout problem with that router. Unless the ISPs fix it, there is no solution.:@

BTW, nobody is blocking Demonoid and that is for sure.

Well now, who would volunteer and ask his/her respective ISPs to look for this problem with Demonoid? (count me out) :P
