Have done 190 odd in a friend's Polo TSI so this is strictly not true.I heard VW polo/vento cant cross 140kmph. They have factory locked or something. Correct me though.
M the kind of who drives at an average 130/140kmph and shoots to 180 or + and only interested in sedans.
Manual.you havent said if you want a automatic or not. also you have said low running cost..
Will have to get in to that marwari mode while purchasing i guess. "Itne mein hi aur kya kya milenga? " J/KI was charged (or duped ) 1K for the basic accessories which normally the dealers throws as 'free gift' - Mats, Mud flaps etc. Anyway that was during the launch time and there was too much hoopla about it (plus no competition and long waiting period) - I was told 'No Offers or Free Gift'
The chart which i posted in Page 1 also says the same but i can confirm it can do 160kmph.I heard VW polo/vento cant cross 140kmph. They have factory locked or something. Correct me though.

Woah. Can you point me to any link who might have experienced this?
@mathrisk Looking at Sport SE petrol. I read people complaining about Hyndai SC ripping customer on spares. True?
Both are diesel models.
Both have are nearly 5 and 4 months old.
Serviced exactly in time.We were discussing the same when we were driving from Mahabaleshwar.
The response times are pathetic under 3k rpm.Certainly lag I pretty well don't know if it will be resolved with servicing.
The Asta performed better than sportz though which was a bit of shock!
I can perhaps say that Micra has much better response time comparatively.
Both of my friends are excellent drivers so this might not be user generated issue.
There's no link just user experience
Edit: this is the thread i guess http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...-long-term-maintenance-service-practices.html
Both are dieselIs the sportz a petrol and the asta a diesel or vice versa? Otherwise both have the same drivetrain and should perform identically. Otherwise something is seriously wrong with one of the cars.
The Showroom MoFo apparently said something today about i10 grand Asta, My father is reluctant to even check out i20 Elite sportz which is kinda 40-50k more.
Will have to convince a 20% better car is always better. Tough dealing with Dads you know, They don't want to listen to kids.
I'm sure you are complaining indirectly about your Jr.Shah on the forumAnd kids don't listen to their dad's either
Not in particular. But generally. Well i never used to listen much to my dad tooI'm sure you are complaining indirectly about your Jr.Shah on the forum
Rubbish as in looks. Agreed.Lol i10 is a rubbish car. You could have bought a brio instead.
I10 is too soft and rolls massively around corners. Not as bad as the previous gen but still not great. The steering has zero feel. It's okay if a car is just a means of transport. However it has absolutely zero driver involvement. Brio is exactly the opposite - rubbish ride and impractical boot but amazing fun to drive.Rubbish as in looks. Agreed.
Not in terms of performance/ride.
brio is just ugly and only women buy it. no wonder its a big flopLol i10 is a rubbish car. You could have bought a brio instead.
Looks depend on individual preferences. Brio is bloody awesome to drive. Can humiliate cars 2-3 segments above on the highway.brio is just ugly and only women buy it. no wonder its a big flop
but majority do find it ugly , the rear looks like the old maruti 800 from the early 90s. My gf has a brio , nothing so special about it. how does it "humiliate" another a car 2 segment above ? plz name that car as well for our knowledgeLooks depend on individual preferences.
