Hi,

So I currently have a Galaxy Note and a Xoom and Im thinking of buying a tablet to future proof things for the coming year or two.
My aim is to spend the least amount possible to get the best experience.
Main uses will be gaming, browsing, ebook or pdf reading, so editing and other things tablets are usually used for.
My options are:
Looking at Wifi only

Nexus 7
Pros: New around 15-16k, used less than that. Smooth UI and fast updates and developer support. Cool exclusives and raw power.
Cons: Compatibility issues, lag with games unoptimised for Tegra 3. Experience with Tegra 2 being weak and unsupported.

Nexus 10
Pros: Best of Google and Samsung, awesome screen, awesome everything.
Cons:Screen too hi-res wasting power in pushing too many pixels (IMO) trying to out beat the fruity company. Costliest option. May experience lags in games with high demand due to screen res.

iPad 2
Pros: Used ~16k, all games optimised, smooth
Cons: I hate Apple and their system with all my heart( But am sane enough to consider it an option if it is going to benefit me as a consumer)
Ultra low res screen. My Xoom screen feels low res to me some times. Users can comment. May reach EOL and not work with future games.

iPad3: used, just an extra option, not powerful enough to drive those pixels without reduced effects in games.

Any other option..
I want this to be an upgrade over my NOTE (dont take the xoom into consideration) and want it to hold its ground longer with compatibility with new games without lag.

Will want to buy as soon as possible, Main motto being lowest price with max benefit or perfect match between price and performance. Thanks.

Edit:
Went to a store nearby to see the iPad 2 in detail and I was amazed to find the game "Subway Surfer" to be a lot smoother in my Note than on the iPad. On the iPad there were micro lags all through the game. That to on a game that is not yet properly optimised for Android. And there is a lag and stutter when swiping to the search page on the app drawer. This is making me doubt the every game is so smooth with no lags kind of claims by many. Highly disappointed and am doubting my intent of going the fruity way.
And the screen, though the colors were ok, was pathetically low res and and it is sad and amazing how Apple could get away with such a screen at such high prices.

And after testing the iPad 2 I realised and am able to feel how smooth my Note is on JB 4.1. My current setup on the NOte is extremely smooth.

Request to Mods: Please close my thread in the Tablet PC section as this is the more appropriate section or this thread. Sorry, my bad.
