Not surprising since I get along with the right of Canada, US, UK, France, Israel, India & Australia. You have too much faith in right wing it seems.
As far as India, Israel or the US, right is the only side that matters.
Depends on the forum. I find the extremists are not helpful. They start of sounding fine and then it goes sideways. The real reason is in any internet community eventually the extremist and loud people will come out on top.
If the extremists have taken over its because the others also from the right have left
Sometimes it can seem that way because a few vocal people push rhe Overton window that way but its not representative
Nothing wrong with that so long as the board that is aligned with the ruling party of the day can enlighten about said parties policies. Cannot argue anything without this step. The guys who spend all day on the internet and are full of hate for the other side are the most motivated and they are the ones who become mods in these subreddits. Soon the whole mod team is full of such people. Anyone who tries to disagree with them starts getting seen as too soft or secretly a traitor. So polarisation is the natural law of such internet communities.
That's good enough to explain the context. Those are examples.
