Having issues accessing a few websites

Guys, I've got a Tata broadband connection and everything was working fine until yesterday, since yesterday I haven't been able to access a few websites, or rather a few https pages on some websites like vodafone and hdfcbank (the netbanking login page) also the tataindicom.in website, which is a regular http site isn't opening up :S

Initially I though it was a browser problem so I tried different browsers and tried booting from a different OS., also tried from my iPhone connected to the same network but still wasn't able to access those pages.

So I installed Hotspotshield, and all the pages started opening up without any issues, although I still can't access them on my iphone which doesnt have hotspotshield installed.

So guys could this be a problem from Tata end or does it have anything to do with my router settings (Buffalo WHR HP G54) or anything else ??

Ok, so I tried connecting to the pc directly without the router in-between but still the problem persists. Mostly problem at Tata end :huh:

Any other suggestions ??

Edit : guys the TATA engg finally confirmed the problem is at their end, should be resolved in 24hrs ... so much time wasted over nothing
