Having trouble with Airtel 98 rupees pack

I just got Airtel 98 rupees pack, but whenever I browse or use net I get charged from the prepaid account and the free usage of the pack remains untouched. Why is it so? I already lost 98 rupees for the pack + 50 rupees for browsing.
 
I'm not aware of Airtel, although could be due to APN related issues. Do they have multiple APNs for internet access? If yes, then check which APN you're using and if that is covered under the pack. There was such issue with Docomo before where if using a certain APN, it would not count to the pack.
 
@OP Check whether you are using the correct settings or not. Most probably you are using the settings for Airtel Live instead of Mobile Office.
Send MO to 543210 to get the correct settings.

Otherwise create a setting yourself and set airtelgprs.com as access point. Nothing else is required. There are no proxy servers.

You need to use the Mobile Office access point. You might be using some other Airtel access point. check that.
 
If you can set it manually just put

The Mobile Office setting only for this 98 net pack..

APN:airtelgprs.com not that airtelfun.com

Rest like IPadd, should come automatically..

Airtel is providing EDGE so very good if you are using an EDGE enable H/set. After every session automatically usages show up in mb not in Rs. if it is fron 98 pack.
 
I've been using it since months... And as said above i dont think its the problem of access point... Airtel live or MO anything works... Call up customer care and ask for help :)
