Graphic Cards HD 4670 or HD 4770

Hi All,

I am looking at the following config.

AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE
Biostar TA 790 GX XE or and other good mobo from MSI or Gigatech

I want a good graphics card and am confused whether to look at HD 4670 or HD 4770. My budget is 9K-10K.

Or is there any other card which will give me better performance? I would prefer ATI Radeon cards than Nvidia.

Please help!
 
It all depends on your power consumption. If you are looking at a mid-low end ultra low power then 4670 is great , even 4770 is a decent mid ranged in power and gfx. Else u can definitely go for 250 and above.
 
I don't know if this information will be helpful but I am also planning to buy the VX2260wm LCD monitor by ViewSonic which has full HD support (DVI-D/HDMI)

And I might be able to increase my budget to 12K. Any other suggestions guys?

gtx 260 for perfomance @ 10~11k 1920 X 1080
HD 4770 if u are playing@ 1200 X 1600 or lower
HD 4670 playing @ basic settings

Well, if you are an ATI fan, then 4870 is your option or may be two 4770 crossfired. Otherwise GTX 260 will be the best choice. And if you can wait for the end of July or August, you can get 4890 at about 12k or little more.
 
1) It's almost impossible to find HD4770

2) GTX260 and HD4870 are available for 11k-12k

3) GTX275 and HD4890 are available for 14k approx.

most VFM here will be GTX275.
 
put a lil extra and get the GTX 260 for 11.5k or try to find a used one in yourbudget.

If you don't want anything more than the HD4770, and can't wait go get the HD4850, a lil bit faster than the 4770 and available at the same price.
