Hello friends ...

I have Sapphire HD 5850 Game Edition GPU . I m thinking to CF 5850 . Is this a right time for CF ? I read lots of users facing problem in games with CF , Is it true? Will i face problem like Microstuttering, flickaring etc. with HD5850 CF ?

Instead of buying another HD5850 now, sell it off and get a HD7870 when it launches. You should see a nice boost to performance and Image Quality at the same power requirements (probably smaller card)

HD7970 price 37k

you cant crossfire with a 450vx.. actually even a single 5850 with a 450vx is way pushing it.. instead sell it add more money and get a 6970 2gb or 570gtx or 580gtx.. their price may fall since 7970 has come out..

Considering HD7970 performed way better than GTX580 i'd say getting HD7870 would be a wise choice,HD7870 will perform little better than HD6970 and it'll be lower power consuming,

Lots of HD 7970/50 users facing problems with drivers . So may be same problem hit to new 7850/70 .

I say wait a bit, AMD 78xx stuff is gonna come soon and nvidia might have something out that will take on 7950. Theoretically the 5850 xfire setup would be pretty powerful but your psu cant pull it and AMD have legendary fail drivers for multi gpu. Even with single card their driver updates take time so many times in latest games their performance is crappy. I personally am using a 6950 but have read people having trouble with Skyrim and BF3 and it seems its not just restricted to those 2 games when new games come out its a recurring theme.

Reading a little more into your situation I would say wait for a while sell your card when newer stuff comes out and look for a deal on a 2nd hand 6970 in the market.
