i want to buy gfx card within 10k so tel me..

Which is Better HD2600 or 8600GT ??
512mb DDR2 ram
Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH Motherboard
450W PSU
P4 3.0 Proc

so tel me which caed is suitable for me ??:huh: :huh:

i change my config ???:huh: :huh:
pls tel me ..........
 
man the best is to change your config,the prices are really good k so do change it. and get a system with atleast 2gb of ram or if u can afford go for 4gb and then if u are a moderate gamer and also watch HD choose HD2600 or if u are just into gaming go for 8600gt.

What about RAM?

Do you have DDR2 RAM?

You need atleast 2GB for Gaming.

Your budget is 20k including the Gfx Card?
 
3600+ with Jetway 690G = 6800
1GB RAM = 1700
8600GT = 8k approx

You will have to settle for a CRT cause a entry level 17 LCD will be close to 9.5k ... which will put it out of your budget

Decent config... you are far better off spending a bit more on an 8800GTS though. Skimp on cpu/mobo and get better video. If you can squeeze in an AMD X2 3600+, a Jetway 690G mobo and any 8800GTS 320MB, you'd get a far far better gaming experience.

doesnt the 8800gts costs like 24k? we'll then given his budget, he'll just end up with just a graphic card, and no pc to use it with :P

and it seems that the prices for that m/b and cpu combo have fallen to 6200~6300

EDIT :

8800GTS 320 is 18k and 640MB is 25k

@Rahul, what all do you want in those 22k?

And yes if you are getting a 8800GTS you'll prolly need to change the PSU, what PSU are you currently running on.

Also make sure to get 2 GB of RAM

m8, define your budget and what all you want in it.

That is what all you want from the 22k budget, can't really help you before you tell us that :)

AMD X2 3600+ : 3200

Jetway 690G : 3100

2 GB DDR2 667 Kingston/Transcend : 3600

8600GT : 8900

PSU CM 380 should work but to be on a safer side get a CM600 (1.7k and 3.6k)
