You can get a USB2 cable which runs a 2.5" HDD on a Desktop computer... they should be about 500/- for a good quality cable and lower for a terrible TechCom cable... to get an idea what I am referreing to check out page in linky - this cable is available in Mumbai and I have got one which I use with a 2.5" Seagate HDD.
