Hello everybody,

My Seagate 7200.11 is not getting detected by os. I was using it as an external drive. The drive is spinning though. do you know how to recover data as it is very essential? Do you any company who can do it? I'm from Kolkata....

the drive is only one year old....
 
But read in a thread that Seagate is providing data recovery + replacement for .11 series, is it true....?
 
any idea on how much wud it cost to get the data recovered from a 40 GB hdd. Whenever I connect the drive a start the system Im getting kind of wierd sound(like chak chak chak).
