One of my HDD is not getting detected in BIOS after I had connected it using el cheapo PATA-USB connector to a laptop. Some error.. "Delayed Write Failed" had come, and then it disappeared.
It is spinning just fine (I can hear normal spinning sound) but its not coming in BIOS.
Can it be that just the chip or something on the outer side is gone?
The thing is that I can't send it for repairs off my watch.
