Hmm so finnaly I narrowed down my comp issue to my primary hdd, as I was getting random lockups while re-installing windows itself.

Surprisingly my 5 yr old 40 gb was able to boot up a pre instaleld version of Windows without any issues, my 120 gb hdd is detected and accesible but when I try to copy something onto my 40 gb I get a delayed write failed message, am unable to copy, but the same I am able to copy in another partition on my 40 gb. Also my 40 GB shows 40 gb in Windows, but shows just 32 gb in 3rd party softwares like partition magic, and partition doctor.

Bump, the 120 gb hdd seems to work, as no bad sectors etc.. but now whenever I connect it, I have the old vga issues, ATI's vpu recover messages, and screen corruption etc. Any idea whas conked VGA or hdd ?
